Advent meal at 5:30 is Baked Potato Bar served by Mary-Martha. ; service at 7 p.m. Grades 3-5 will sing. 4th grade recorders and 5th grade band will perform.

Advent meal of BBQ sandwiches, potato salad, and baked beans will be served at 5:30 by the Youth; service at 7 p.m. Mary Martha will have a bake sale benefiting the NYG trip. Grade K-2nd will sing.
Thanksgiving Service Wednesday, November 27 at 7 p.m.
Poinsettias are $17 this year. The deadline to purchase is December 15th.
This year’s Women’s Retreat “Treasured” will be Saturday, February 1, 9:00-3:00 at Room 108. Registration information will be available next month. (Please note, Room 108 is handicap assessable.)
Women's Advent by Candlelight
Our Fall Voter's Meeting will be held tonight at 7:00 p.m. We will be voting on next year's budget. All communing members 18 and older may vote.
Please note the correction to the cost. $10 per person and/or free will offering.
October is the month our quilters wrap up their quilt year. They have completed:
47 quilts & 52 lap robes/baby blankets
10 crocheted blankets - made by 1 person
These items are delivered to various places:
1) all crocheted pieces & 8 lap robes have
been delivered locally to 3 Rivers Hospice
2) a few have gone to church members
3) 4 quilts were purchased, providing sewing
supplies for our quilt making.
4) Orphan Grain Train receives the rest
They also provide baby blankets, as needed, for our baptismal packets, and sew bibs and burp clothes for our nursery care.
Once again we are grateful to Darrel Thimjon who has agreed to deliver the quilts to Orphan Grain Train this fall to a collection point in Lincoln, NE, where they can be sent anywhere around the world.
We appreciate the materials and supplies people have donated throughout the year, and the interest expressed in our efforts. We work together in the Fellowship Hall the 2nd & 4th Monday mornings from 9:30 - 12. If a schedule change is made, it will be noted in Sunday’s bulletin. New members are always welcome!
October 13 is pastor appreciation day. We are so thankful for our pastor and all that he does. We are truly blessed!
